One of IWC’s most famous collections, the Portugieser was designed in 1939 to the specifications of two Portuguese merchants (hence the name) who wanted the precision of IWC’s desk clocks miniaturised into a wristwatch.

This iteration of the IWC Portugieser which is defined as a “Boutique Edition” is dressier but provides an elegant take on the nautical sports chronograph, and the new dial adds a splash of vibrant colour to the collection, such as the one you are viewing which comes with a deep burgundy dial. The new sunray-brushed dials provide an intriguing contrast with the rhodium-plated hands and markers to consult the time.

You will also notice on board the IW3716 is the addition of a sapphire crystal case back to view the in-house automatic movement, calibre 69335, which comes with a 46-hour power reserve

This timepiece will come with 2-8 year warranty
