For sale today is a custom Seiko build with an OEM SPB265 Willard “Ice Diver” dial. You really have to see this dial in person. It may be one of the best Seiko dials ever made. When the sun hits it just right, it reminds me of looking down at the ocean from an airplane. The watch has the feel of the 62MAS with some Ice Diver thrown in. It’s a pleasure to wear. This is a 40.5mm stainless steel case with rotating bezel with sloped ceramic insert. The click on this bezel is very satisfying. It comes on a strapcode bracelet that will fit an 8+ inch wrist. and It’s run by an NH35 movement that is brand new. The crystal is what’s referred to as a “Pot Cover” because it’s concave on the underside. This allows for the vintage top hat look while keeping legibility high from all angles and only distorting the dial on the edges.
