Up for sale is the AnOrdain Model 1 Blue Fume with the La Joux-Perret (LJP) G100 automatic movement. If you are searching for this brand, you know that they are well known for their Fume Enamel dials. It was a tough choice deciding between the colors because I think they each have their merits, but I ended up picking the blue one and did not regret that decision for even one second. It’s absolutely beautiful, but it seemed to spend all of it’s time in the watch box over the past year so I decided to move it along to someone who will hopefully wear it a lot more. You also probably know that the current build slots for these are 2029/2030.
The blue is a very dynamic color and shows a lot of variation under different light sources and different light intensities. I tried to include a lot of different pictures to give an idea of the variation, but the enamel dial is very hard to capture with my poor photography skills. You can probably find much better images of this watch on a google search than what I can take. But I think even with my poor photography skills, the craftsmanship and the beauty of the enamel dial can be appreciated. The printed Arabic numerals look like they are floating on top of the glass which gives the dial a nice depth.
I chose the LJP movement due to the 68 hour power reserve that it has versus the Sellita movement. Here is an article from AnOrdain about the movement Introducing La Joux-Perret’s G100 - anOrdain. Having a lot of watches, I do place value on the longer power reserve so it can be worn in rotation.
The watch has barely been worn which can be seen from the pictures. The case is in excellent condition as well as the crystal. The watch came on a grey suede strap which has probably been out of the house maybe 5 times. The watch comes with a 5 year warranty so it is good through May 2027. The watch has a case diameter of 38mm and a lug to lug of 46mm. The engraving that I chose for the case back shows Scotland as a nod to where the watch came from.
Looking for $5,000 shipped on this one. No trades as I’m in the process of shrinking the collection. A face-to-face transaction is always an option in New Jersey, Philadelphia or Naples, FL areas as I’m frequently in all of those areas. Wire or zelle payment only. I have numerous smooth transactions on the various watch forums all under this same username. I have included links to a few of them below the pictures from this forum specifically.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
