By comparison, a Rolex is accurate to +/- 2 seconds per day, a typical quartz is accurate to +/- 10-15 seconds per month, and a Grand Seiko 9F is accurate to +/- 5-10 seconds per year depending on the spec. So this watch has 5-10x less annual deviation than the next most accurate watch. It does this with an “AT cut” crystal that vibrates at over 8MHz and sophisticated thermo positional compensation. It’s so accurate that it’s the first time that the positional variance of a quartz watch mattered! Besides that, the case, hands, and indices are zaratsu polished.
