OK these are just crazy cool and not one you see every day (especially in the US.) I’ve had the pleasure of tracking down a couple over the years, including this very one, that I sold to a collector who is now consolidating and very sadly letting this go. One of only 3000 Omega ever made, in honor of famed French diver Jacques Mayol, this being within the first 100, number 58, with one of the most incredible dials I’ve ever seen! Ride the GREEN WAVE!!! REF: 2553.41 SERIAL: 60,125,XXX DATE: 1996 DIAL: Just a thing of beauty, going from a sweet even green to this crazy wave texture when the light catches it, this dial is stunning! Pair that with beautifully aged and full pumpkin tritium lume and the combo is a work of art! Under macro can can see a spec of dust or two, but all in just incredibly clean! CASE: CRISP and clean 36mm case with great original lines. Even on the stainless bezel, only minimal light scratches, this has clearly been worn very carefully over the decades. As mentioned, I’ve been fortunate to sell a few of these and I’ve never seen a nicer example! CRYSTAL: Sapphire crystal in great shape, showing off that stunning dial perfectly. MOVEMENT: Omega automatic running very well, winding smoothly with date turning over perfectly. Service history unknown but timegrapher numbers are stellar, running within COSC at 4 seconds a day and an extremely healthy amplitude of 316! BRACELET: Comes on its original Omega bracelet which is fairly large, can fit up to approximately 7.5 inches. Light wear, a few of the links and a bit on the clasp, as usual, but looks fantastic and LOVE the little gold detail! ACCESSORIES: Watch only.
