Timex x James Brand Titanium GMT - like new!
41mm diameter case, 20mm lug width, Miyota 9075 GMT movement with jumping hour adjustment on the fly.
Includes all packaging, titanium bracelet with deployant clasp, and rubber strap with titanium hardware (neither have been worn).
Only worn two days (on a separate strap) - this remarkable value came out last week, a limited release from Timex and James Brand. Grade 5 titanium case and bracelet, relatively new Miyota 9075 movement, sapphire crystal front and back, really nice design that has some subtle references to many of my favorites (70s Heuer in the case, Sinn in the bracelet, maybe a little Unimatic in the bezel, and maybe some others), but the design really stands out on its own - especially compared to other efforts that have used this movement so far.
No issues or surprises, excellent fit and finish and apparent build quality. Bezel action is nice and smooth, well aligned, and stays in place. Movement is about +3.5s/day. Some people have been tripped up on the name "Timex" on price alone, but I think for the specs, design, and build quality $750 is a bargain from any brand, and you can have it even less from me.
I had been waiting for a good clean-sheet titanium GMT using this movement, so I had to give it a try even though it's bigger than my personal sweet spot of 39mm. After a few days it just wears a little bit bigger than I like - but otherwise I'm really impressed.
$700 shipped within the continental US. Prefer Zelle but open to other options. Can split the cost on shipping elsewhere. Nothing but positive feedback here and on eBay with the same username. Message me here or e-mail [email protected] with any questions.
