Up for sale today is my lovely Ming 22.01 GMT Gilt. It comes as a full set and is in excellent condition. Ming watches seamlessly blend modern aesthetics and class watch designs, and the 22.01 GMT Gilt is the fullest realization of this vision. Inspired by early brass and gilt watches, the 22.01 brings that style into the twenty-first century with its double-glass dial, the HyCeram X1 application of indices on the underside of the top sapphire, an exhibition caseback displaying the black-finished movement and skeletonized rotor. The amazing Grade 5 Titanium case - fashioned by Schwarz-Etienne - alternates polished and brushed surfaces to stunning effect. I haven't even mentioned the one-of-a-kind dial - the gilt center sparkles in daylight, while the cyan outer ring can appear black, blue, or green depending on conditions. It is impossible for photos to capture this astounding watch face. This specific watch comes as a full set in excellent condition. The very soft barenia leather strap from Jean Rousseau shows some wear, but it is still in very good-to-excellent shape. There are light nicks on the unique Ming buckle, but they were almost impossible to show. There are no blemishes on the case front or crystal. There is a slight mark on the back near the crown, but it only appears in the right light. I tried to photograph these tiny imperfections, but they were nigh impossible to capture (that is how minor they are). I tend to baby my watches, and this 22.01 is no different! Price is $2400.
