For sale is a 2179, powered by a 30t2 which is still running strong and keeping time.
This 2179 is not a US military version because I see no stamping or anything on the case back.
The case still looks sharp and all the old factory finish are still can be seen. Lug holes are round and the crown is correct (with no logo on it as it should be)
Movement looks clean and shiny, but it needs some lubrication for sure as it has been in my vault for more than 15 years at least.
Dial has developed a coat of patina as you can see in the pictures.
The lume on dial and hands are radium from the factory, I guess. You can see how it reacts under the uv light in an attached picture.
The asking price is $800 usd and buyer pays for shipping.
