[WTS] Discontinued SARD007. 28,888bph with double retrograde day-date, and a white enamel dial, in Great Condition
**Model**: SARD007 **Year**: 2015 **Features**: ***- Video.*** You can see a video of the [watch in action on my Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/C9zUeKvO-yW/) ***- Retrograde Movement*****.** A silky 28,800bph 6R21 double retrograde movement (day and date), with a power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock. For a watch under $1000, this is a great value proposition, and I haven’t even spoken about the dial yet… ***- The Dial*****.** A snow white, pressed, enamel dial, designed to pay homage to the late Riki Watanabe. Often considered *the* pioneer of modern Japanese design, Watanabe died in 2013 and Seiko collaborated with his design house on a handful of enamel dialled watches that took inspiration from Watanabe’s famous clock designs. The results are stunning; not only do they perfectly capture the “Riki Clocks”, but the high contrast visuals and intricate sub-dials harken back to Seiko’s early “Laurel” days. Winner of Japan’s 2004 [*Good Design Award*](https://www.g-mark.org/en)*,* the “Riki Clocks” have an almost Herman Miller-esque following in Japan’s interior design scene. As a result, the now-discontinued SARD007 is incredibly popular in Japan, and is one of the few Seiko watches that’s typically more expensive to buy in Japan than in the West. **Condition**: An immaculate sapphire crystal and exhibition case back. There are some minor abrasions on the bezel. As you can see from the photos, the watch is in fantastic condition overall. **Scope**: The original strap and deployant buckle. Comes with a Seiko Box, and the original tags. No papers. **Movement**: 6R24 automatic. 28,800 bph, 31 Jewels with a 45-hour power reserve **Case Width**: 39.2mm **Lug to lug:** 46.0mm **Case Thickness**: 13.0mm **Strap width**: 20mm **Price**: Offered at **$935** plus shipping.
