Universal Geneve Polerouter Super 869112/01
Case - 34.5mm with 20mm lugs. Appears unpolished in outstanding condition. Caseback is glossy, assume from wearing, but reference and serial numbers are still clearly visible.
Dial/hands - original in outstanding condition, all lume appears intact and attractive creamy yellow
Crown - original, screw down
Crystal - I don't see any logo on the plexi so assume it's replaced generic, but looks good
Mvmt - Cal 69 is running but needs a full service. Sometimes it appears to keep good time and other times the seconds hand is running but the hour/minute hands are not engaged so it loses hours in a short period of time. I had my watchmaker look at it and they said the canon pinion was very loose and need to be tightened. Recommended a full service.
I wasn't sure if I would keep this watch until I had it in hand. It's a very nice example of this reference but it's not going to bump my Polerouter BA, and I only have one spot in the collection. I don't think I will get my service costs back out, so I am letting this go at my cost $1950 USD net to me. Paypal F&F. Shipping to be paid by the buyer. Strap not included.
This watch is perfect for someone looking for a very nice Polerouter Super to keep, and not looking to flip in the short term. I don't know what the final service costs might be, but I think you will be close to retail value once it's done.
