Hi all, I'm selling my Credor Phoenix GCBR993 "Alpinist." Despite coming from Seiko's high-end Credor line, this watch is full of Alpinist DNA and 90’s style. The gorgeous deep black lacquered dial is offset by the oversized lumed indices, crosshairs, lancette hands, red-tipped seconds hand, and cyclops date. The case has thick lugs, a fantastic caseback with the phoenix emblem, and a cabochon-topped crown with crown guards. It seems like none of this should work together, but it absolutely does, and is so fun on the wrist. The lume is original and still very bright, with the indicies and hands having slightly different colors, fun to look at. This runs on the high-beat 8L75 movement, which is similar to the Marinemaster and Grand Seiko 9S55 movements. This watch is 38mm in diameter, 12mm thick, and has 18mm lugs - it wears incredibly well. It comes with its original leather strap and buckle. The watch is from 1999.
