Up for sale is my Farer Elvington, a rare split seconds flyback chronograph from the always bold and colorful Farer. A unique flyback chronograph with the not often seen ETA 251.294 FK movement. 200hz allows timing down to 1/10th of a second. Time adjusts with jumping travel hour and date change. Accuracy 10 sec per year. In addition to being a high-frequency movement, this caliber also allows for split-seconds timing. (Video included) When the chronograph is actuated, the seconds hand begins moving from 12:00, with another seconds hand directly underneath it. Pressing the split-seconds pusher separates the hands, stopping the first while the other keeps going, making it possible to record an intermediate time (such as the completion of a lap in a race) without stopping the chronograph entirely.  Watch has beautiful raised sapphire crystal, Farer unique colours aesthetic, bright orange chrono seconds hand, and electric blue subdial hands. The Elvington model takes most of its cues from the 70s, a true golden era for sports chronographs. The navy blue/black background has a matte finish, and the white subdials have a subtle radial pattern providing just the right amount of texture. Crown has bronze insert to match distinctive Farer design. Watch in very good condition, comes with box, papers and warranty till April 2025. Very rare model, not produced anymore.
