Just in time for the holidays! It’s always difficult to let go of a watch you love, but when it’s a vintage, 18K white gold Patek with ORIGINAL papers from 1974… it hits a bit different. As much as I love this piece, it just doesn’t get the wrist time it deserves. This is a stunning 1974 Patek Philippe 3566 in solid 18K white gold. Not only that… but it’s complete with all of the original paperwork from its sale in Jan. 1974. Not super common to see a piece this special, this vintage, and still with all of its papers intact! The blue, sunburst sigma dial really needs to be seen in person to be appreciated! The way the light hits it is truly breathtaking. You’ll find yourself getting lost staring at it. 😉 I believe the case to be unpolished, and as a result, as scratches throughout, but nothing that takes away from its incredible, timeless design. And with a precious metal case, scratches are kind of inevitable; especially on a piece from 1974. Case measures 28MM by 36MM and 4.5MM thin and is pictured here on my 6.1" wrist. Great option for smaller wrist sizes. The movement was just serviced in March 2024 by a trusted watchmaker in Paris. Comes on a dark brown Patek Philippe strap, which has some wear and shrinkage from time, but still beautiful and feels fantastic. The buckle is vintage, period correct, but non-Patek and in stainless steel.
