A stunning vintage 1920's Art Nouveau exploding numbers dial wristwatch in a large 26mm by 37mm curved case with high quality 15 jewel Swiss movement.

It has a wonderful big vintage feel on the wrist with its large rectangular case and deeply curved crystal. I just love the details of the original factory printed dial, those fancy exaggerated numbers with long scrolled stylized tips. The rolled gold case is signed on the back guaranteed 10 Years, Swiss Made with the case makers mark GDR.

(G.D.R Hallmark likely indicate George D Rattray, Dundee Glasgow 1915)

It measures 26mm wide excluding the crown and 37mm top to bottom excluding the lugs. It is currently set on a very nice brown genuine leather 20mm strap, but will fit up to a 22mm open ended strap to fit the fixed lugs. Inside the movement is signed Eros.
