It is impossible to discuss Barthelay without acknowledging his ties to Cartier, with whom he shared an undeniable association. Often working together to release co-branded models, both houses understood that real luxury was not about timekeeping but storytelling. Yet, where Cartier leaned into its heritage, Barthelay broke away from tradition, infusing its creations with a flair that was bold and uniquely its own.
