This is the rare silver dial variant of the Seiko Rally diver from 1969. This came to me from Japan about six months ago. Last month I serviced it completely including all new gaskets. A service means that the whole movement was stripped down, cleaned and liberated while assembling. Only synthetic oils were used as well as Seiko mainspring grease.
It’s completely original including the crystal. The bracelet is aftermarket but is very nice and will fit an 7.5” wrist.
You can see from the timegrapher that it’s running perfectly with nice strong amplitude. Everything works exactly as it should.
