Originally released for the company’s 40th anniversary it has always been an important and stunning piece and is one of the oldest Rolex lines still being produced today. This example from the 70s features a stunning silver linen dial with an engine turned bezel. The thing that I think that really makes this watch shine is the movement. It doesn’t feature any bells and whistles such as the lack of the quickest function but it is bulletproof and it winds extremely smooth. If you want to get into vintage Rolex or just vintage watches in general a linen dial 1603 would be a great option to consider. Comes as in non serviced condition but it’s time grapher reading makes me believe this watch has been serviced sometime in its life. Definitely a very good wearable example of this watch. Looking for cool trades I’m interested in a 90s-2000s Rolex explorer 36mm, Tudor BB54 , Midsize Tudor Submariner, Omega Speedmaster Professional, Iwc Pilot Watch 36mm. I will consider other 36mm dive watches and cool watches!!!! Possible to add cash if it makes sense.
