I'm selling my favorite watch! Up for offer is my Grand Seiko SBGP001, asking price $1700 shipped and insured CONUS, with original full kit and additional accessories! I'm not proud of the timestamp photo, please see the album linked here [link](https://photos.app.goo.gl/EoMMdZQmTzRxRnrJ8) for more (and better) photos. Also please see this [link ](https://www.grand-seiko.com/us-en/collections/sbgp001g)for the full watch information on the GS website. A bit about my watch - the case and bracelet have have scuffs and scratches from normal wear, but to the best of my knowledge the crystal is unblemished - and I took a bunch of pictures under an inspection light from different angles to demonstrate. The highlight of this watch is the craftsmanship under the crystal. The champagne sunray dial is gorgeous, as is the mirror polishing on the markers, sword hands, date frame, and GS logo. The heat blued seconds hand adds a splash of color, and the raised lettering in "Grand Seiko" and the date number adds texture under light. I'll leave full research up to you, but the 9F85 quartz movement is one of the best movements available in terms of accuracy, and is not an afterthought on GS's part: it's a fully decorated movement cased in golden metal (it looks like gold to me, but I can't confirm and don't want to mislead - but it looks good). Movement accuracy is specified at +/- 10 seconds per year, and my watch got a new battery last year - included in my accessories are four additional new batteries, which should each last three years. The movement prevents backlash, enabling the seconds hand to land on the marker precisely. In spite of being a quartz movement, it is hand-assembled. Like a mechanical movement, it can also be adjusted for accuracy if the need ever were to arise. I am not the original purchaser, but included are the original full kit, including original packaging, tag, warranty booklet, manual, and sales reciept. To the best of my knowledge it's under GS's global five year warranty, and should have approximately a year plus remaining under manufacturer warranty. I'm also including a black epsom leather strap I purchased to complement the OE bracelet - this model features drilled lugs, which makes changing your watchband very simple. So, why am I selling my favorite watch? I originally purchased this watch used because I've been a fan of GS for a long time and wanted to make sure, in the cheapest way possible, that I was in love with the watch style before going down the road of their much more expensive spring drive offerings - and I am a huge fan! I've worn this watch consistently for the past two years, and I'm selling it now to justify purchasing a new watch, as I'm an enthusiast but don't love collecting just for the sake of collecting - I want to wear all my watches. I love this watch, and I hope you will too. Please comment or DM with any questions!
