[WTS] Seiko April 1976 Special Textured TV Dial 4130-5260 Japan Made JDM Suwa, Brand New Strap
For sale is this vintage Seiko 4130-5260, made in Japan, in April of 1976. An early quartz movement from the golden age of quartz when Seiko was at the forefront of the quartz revolution, making high-quality movements built to last compared to a lot of cheap quartz movements you get nowadays. This example is a simple but elegant time-only watch without the need for a seconds hand, subtly signifying that the wearer is in no hurry. The square TV design is very '70s and the textured (corrugated) striped cream dial just adds something extra, almost as if the designers were inspired by the scan lines of a CRT TV. The watch was created by the Suwa factory (indicated by the Suwa "swirl" symbol at the bottom of the dial and on the case back) during their fierce rivalry with the Daini factory. Printed on the dial is the Seiko logo and the single crystal quartz symbol. The baton markers are multifaceted with a black printed middle. The size is very wearable for most with a 31mm diameter (square watches always wear larger than round), making it a good option for a dress watch or a watch to wear under a cuff. The watch is on a brand new high-quality strap which is very pliable. Dimensions are: 31mm x 35mm x 8mm Lug Width 18mm Looking for $125 (buyer pays Paypal fees) International Tracked Shipping: $10 More pics: [https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjC6WS5](https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjC6WS5) Bought in Japan. \*Returns accepted but return postage costs are the buyer's responsibility in all circumstances.
