When it comes to chronographs, it’s hard to beat a Fortis B-42. On top of being powered by the ever-reliable Valjoux 7750 movement, it features a highly legible dial, a thick 42 mm case, and a sturdy steel bracelet with extension clasp. The tachymeter scale aged to a nice yellow colour, which you don’t see too often. I believe this was one of first B-42s with reference 635.22.11 to be sold, as they had sequential serial numbers (this is number 20xx). It’s the perfect piece for Fortis collectors. **Condition:** Very good. The case and bracelet have minor usage marks. The crystal was recently replaced. The chronograph works perfectly, but the second hand is slightly misaligned. See detailed photos for full condition and clarity. **Case Size:** 43 x 53mm stainless case with a thickness of 15.2mm and a lug width of 20mm. **Crystal:** Mineral, Fortis only started using sapphire on later references).  **Movement:** Valjoux 7750 Automatic, 25 jewels with 28,800 bph and a power reserve of 46 hours.
