Letting go of my JLC Polaris Automatic with the stunning discontinued blue dial. It shifts between deep navy, electric blue, and almost purple depending on the light. The sunburst center, textured ring, and glossy edge give it serious visual depth. It’s one of those dials that stops you mid-wrist-check. Case is 41mm but wears like a dream on any wrist thanks to the curved lugs and compact 47.5mm lug-to-lug. Pairs that presence with a 22mm lug width, which gives it some beef on the wrist while still working for small and large wrists alike. Inside is JLC’s automatic cal. 898E/1 with 40-hour power reserve. 100m water resistance and a really slick micro-adjust bracelet with 5mm of tool-free adjustment. Seriously one of the best bracelet systems I’ve ever used. Condition is great overall. There are some light desk diving marks on the bracelet and a couple barely-visible scratches on the inside of the lugs from the previous owner’s strap change. They only show in just the wrong light and were hard to even photograph. I wore it 99 percent of the time on straps.
