Sicura is known as the watch company that saved Breitling. In 1979, Ernest Schneider, then owner of Sicura, purchased the rights to the Breitling, which was facing financial difficulties amid the quartz crisis. Over time, Schneider phased out the Sicura brand, focusing entirely on Breitling. By 1993, Montres Sicura AG had officially changed its name to Breitling AG. The piece you see here features a rather large case size of 38 x 42.8mm, a gold-plated, a deep blue dial with golden patina and funky indexes, and even the original white hands in excellent condition. Of course, it also has the iconic Sicura vacuum caseback. The watch includes a new 20mm brown leather strap.  **Condition:** Okay. The case has some minor markings on the side. The dial has a ton of patina. The crystal has some scratches that can easily be removed with Polywatch.
