Hello WatchEx! Up for sale is a RARE, minty, 1 of 50, Friends and Family Only, Massena Lab Archetype 1.0. It comes as a full set in like new condition. While I have worn the watch (sparingly), I cannot see a mark, swirl, or imperfection anywhere on the timepiece. The caseback even has its protective cover still! While the crease shows light wear and there might be a swirl on the buckle, I am listing this as "like new" rather than "very good" because the condition is much closer to new. A few personal observations before I cut-and-paste the official description. This watch has the nicest champagne dial I have ever owned and the finest one for under $10,000. The finishing - different brushing, sunken subdials and appliqué indices, blued hands, legible snail chronograph pattern - is unlike any I have seen at this price point. It is a delight to wear this piece in all lighting conditions and even more fun to use as a stopwatch (the blue just pops!) The push buttons and crown are buttery smooth and efficient with a really satisfying tactile feel. The case has a thoughtful blend of satinized and polished finishes that indicate the painstaking lengths the Massena team goes to in their production process. Finally, even the strap, an olive green Saffiano leather, is well chosen. I was hesitant about the olive and champagne combo at first, but it gives the watch a more casual, GADA feel. (I can only imagine how this would look on a jubilee bracelet!) Frankly, the only reason I am even considering letting this go is that 42mm is a bit beyond my sweet spot. It's doesn't \*wear\* big, but I usually prefer 37-41. Price: **$3500**. This is under original retail for an extremely difficult piece to find! The champagne dial, which changes color depending on the light from pale salmon to ivory, features applied, rhodium-plated Arabic numerals and navy blue indices. At the center of the dial is a prominent, escargot style spiral tachymeter. The dial has two subdials: at 6 o'clock, a thirty-minute counter; and at 9 o'clock, the small seconds. For increased legibility, the hands are color-coordinated for timekeeping or chronograph functions. Stainless steel hands are employed for hours, minutes, and seconds, while the chronograph and the thirty-minute counter hands are blued steel. The Archetype 1.0 measures 42mm and is cased in stainless steel, which is both polished and brushed for visual interest. The watch features a double-domed sapphire crystal. The watch is powered by the Swiss-made, manual-wound, Sellita caliber SW510 with 58 hours of power reserve.
