Up for sale is my minty Armin Strom Configured Manual with a brown, skeletonized dial and stunning blue-purple gradient, engraved baseplate. It is a piece unique - it was specially configured for the AD from whom I bought the watch. (In fact, the seller still has their eBay listing up because I purchased it directly from the store. This is why there is another one out there!) While Armin Strom hasn't made these pieces in a few years, this was new when I purchased it in January and is still under manufacturer warranty until 2027! The Manual Configured has the same dimensions as its siblings the Manual Water, Air, Fire, and Earth. Of course, this one is cooler because it is the only one out there! The pictures do not do just to the Armin Strom artistry on display here. The showstopper is the exhibition caseback. The blue-purple gradient plate is out of this world. The handmade waves and engraving play wonderfully with light, rendering the back different colors at different times. The skeletonization shows off the balance wheel, which is also nicely decorated. The snailing on the various wheels is impeccable. From the front side, the gold barrel shows through the barrel, hearkening back to Armin Strom's historical strengths in skeletonization. The brown and gold contrasts are lush. The off-center indices (with the branding to the side) give the watch a distinctive feel. This is haute horology at its best from an esteemed manufacture. The case measures 43.4mm. The watch has a stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal over the dial.  The crystal is treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides.  The dial ring is black with rose gold founded appliqué indexes.  The base plate is brown with a small seconds subdial at the 9 o’clock position.  The hands are rose gold with luminescence.  This watch is powered by the AMWII manual wind movement with 5 day power reserve.  Presented on a brown hornback alligator strap with gold stitching and a stainless steel tang buckle. Watch comes as a full set, which includes the lightly worn (and thiccc) gator strap, a black rubber strap, and an aftermarket purple one. I do not see any scuffs or swirls (I have worn the watch VERY carefully), so I would call it excellent condition. Price is $**7000**.
