Hello, I’ve inherited a collection of watches and am now looking to sell some of them. This charming BWC hand-wound wristwatch likely dates back to the 1950s. It remains in good, original condition, showing signs of honest wear but retaining its vintage character. The hand-wound movement starts up smoothly and reliably. It has been partially serviced and regulated and now runs no deviation on the timegrapher. Strap has been replaced with a brand-new black leather strap. Instead of a central seconds hand, the watch features a beautiful small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. Inside ticks the famous AS 1130 movement, often referred to as the "Wehrmachtswerk" due to its widespread use in military watches of the 1940s and 1950s. Known for its robustness and reliability, this caliber was a staple in many tool watches of that era. The dial has a subtle silver tone that looks far more refined in person than the pictures suggest. They simply don't do it justice.
