Claude Bernard is a relatively unknown watchmaker established in 1973 in Les Genevez, Switzerland. Early examples are hard to come by, and the ones that appear for sale often feature quartz movements – not this one, though! Offered in NOS condition and complete with its original hangtag, the piece you see here features a clean gold dial with black accents framed by a distinctive two-tone case. At 30mm, it wears with classic vintage proportions. The watch also features an elegant cabochon crown that adds a lot to its charm. Inside, you’ll find a Swiss 17-jewel manual wind movement. The original lizard strap has some wear near the holes, probably from sitting in a box, untouched.  **Condition:**  Basically NOS. No markings on the case, dial, crystal, or caseback. The strap has some wear, possibly due to storage. Portuguese import stamp in the upper right lug.
