From the neat silver guilloche dial with classic Roman numerals which somehow looks ivory in my eyes, heat blued sword shape hands, blue sapphire cabochon crown and secret Cartier signature at X hour marker to the elegantly placed horizontal lugs which holds the clean, one-piece alligator strap to the concealed deployant clasp folding invisibly behind the case. The Cartier Vendome Biplan was introduced in 1994 in limited quantities and suddenly retired after its brief release making it a relatively scarce and unique model amongst other Cartier watches and very much comparable to Cartier’s CPCP pieces.
