Anonimo’s watches have a distinctly Italian sense of proportion: broad cushion cases, substantial crowns, and dials that favor bold numerals over fine print. Founded in 1997, the brand emerged from Florence’s watchmaking scene with a practical interest in sturdy cases and watches built for use in the water. Bronze became an important part of that vocabulary, giving those generous case surfaces a finish that changes with wear rather than remaining uniform.

The Militare is the clearest expression of Anonimo’s unconventional approach. Its crown sits at twelve o’clock, tucked between the upper lugs, leaving the case sides free of the usual protrusion. Large numerals and strong luminous markings keep the military-influenced design readable without making it austere.

The Nautilo takes that cushion-shaped foundation underwater, adding a rotating dive bezel and moving the crown to four o’clock. The Epurato pares things back: no dive bezel, a more restrained profile, and room for the dial and case finish to do the talking.
