Breguet Classique 3137

The piece is in good original condition and I do not believe it has been polished. The movement winds very smoothly but runs fast so will need a service. The watch was offered to me by a local dealer who purchased it from the original owner. Does not include box and papers. Comes on the original factory strap with the original 18K yellow gold buckle. The movement is absolutely stunning in person.

Open to interesting Breguet AP, or A. LS Trades (can add cash). Can do local pick up in NYC or Philly. Happy to provide TRF & Moda references.

So Rolexgolfer posted a breguet 3137 BA for sale, upon emailing him and requesting he sent additional pics which were way different from his listing . Have proofs of the listing and my emails exchanged with rolexgolfer. Proceed with caution. I almost fell into this trap. This is very surprising …

Breguet is a Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches, founded by Abraham-Louis Breguet in Paris in 1775. Currently part of The Swatch Group, its timepieces are now (since 1976) produced in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland.

The company, along with Vacheron Constantin, is one of the oldest surviving watch-making establishments and a pioneer of numerous watch-making technologies, such as the tourbillon, invented by Abraham-Louis Breguet. It also produced the first wrist watch in 1810.

Breguet watches are often easily recognized for their coin-edge cases, guilloché dials and blue pomme hands (often now referred to as 'Breguet hands').
