Hey guys,
since my focus is on other projects ( and I need the money for them) I let this Angelus Chrono project go. Lets talk about the "pros". The case is made of 14K solid gold and the size is with 36mm huge for its time. Time means early to mid 30s, since the watch houses the early Angelus Chronograph Movement Cal. 210. Another hint to its age, is the caseback, that opens up like we know from pocket watches. Cool feature. The dial has Patina but also a lot of charme. The hands are blued annd also all orginal.
Now lets come to the "cons": Unfortunately the movement is not running due to a shot balance. The balance is deformed and I think the staff is also broken. So its needs a new complete balance. As far as I found out, the balance of the way more common Cal. 215 works too.
Watch comes with a new matching leather strap. Pricewise its a bit hard to find one. Its a nice looking watch in a relatively big case and made of solid gold, but the movement needs a proper fix. I'd like to have 900€ 750€ to cover my costs, but If i am totally off, I am also open to offers. Watch is located in Germany but worldwide shipping is no problem.
Cheers Nico
