Limited Edition first generation Seiko x Honda Super Cub SRPJ49 in green & cream to celebrate the world's most produced motorcycle. Barely worn almost new condition. I've thrown in an additional high quality HIRSCH leather rally strap (RRP £40) because I feel like it suits the watch more and puts the focus on the watch head. Box and documents included. $620 (open to offers) + shipping Location: London, UK I went to the Seiko boutique in London to pick this up so there are no previous owners. Compared to the standard Seiko 5, this watch has special elements unique to the collaboration including the 12 o'clock marker which resembles the front headlight of the Super Cub and the two turning signals at 11 and 1 which produce different colour lume to the rest of the indices using Seiko's Lumibrite technology. The seconds hand is in orange to nod to the speedometer hand on the Super Cub as well as on the bezel insert being dotted to the 30min mark which represents the top speed or rev mark of the Super Cub when it was first produced. There is a Super Cub applique logo on the dial and the day date wheel is blacked out which really lends well to the aesthetic. Compared to standard Seiko 5s the day date window is bordered and the hands are high polish giving them a more luxurious look. The crown displays the fuel tank gauge. The display caseback is in a fantastic red colour and portrays the Honda shield as well as which number of 6000 units the watch is. I've also noticed that the case finishing and shape seems to be better than the other Seiko 5 I own with better defined edges and bevels perhaps because it is a limited edition collaboration.
