The Scoop
The original Hanhart 417 Chronograph is one of the most legendary German chronographs and featured the Hanhart Caliber 42, a manually-wound column wheel chronograph movement. Although Hanhart's original Caliber 42 is no longer in production, Hanhart chose the bi-compax SW-510 M, manually-wound, chronograph caliber to power this new watch with an extended power reserve of 58 hours.
The watch is in impeccable condition, having only insignificant signs of wear on the case; it's very close to mint condition. The sapphire crystal is flawless and the leather strap is unworn. All chronograph functions work as intended and the chronograph hand snaps precisely back to 12. I am the original owner and selling it to pursue a crazy quest of trimming down my collection to only three watches. ;-)
Notable Specifications:
Dimensions: 39 x 46 x 13.3 mm
Lug width: 20 mm
Antimagnetic: 16,000 A/m
Domed sapphire crystal with interior AR coating
Screw down case back
Super-Luminova on hands/numerals
Special shock resistance technology
Manufacturer's limited warranty: 2 years with Hanhart or RGM
What You Get
The full kit includes the original branded watch roll, warranty card, instruction manual, and the OEM leather strap with bund extension. The serial number has been blurred out in several of the photos.
Payment & Shipping
Payment options include Zelle (preferred), Venmo, bank wire, or PayPal G&S + 3.5% (Friends & Family not accepted). Ships via insured, USPS Priority Mail with required signature in the CONUS (included in the asking price). I would be willing to discuss international shipping options from the United States and happy to answer any questions about the watch. Feel free to check out my WUS feedback!
