I bought it from Japan not too long ago and have not done anything to it. No service and not wearing it, either. 3 days ago, I took off the bracelet to take pictures of the movement and changed the spring bars.
The quickset function is working nicely as it should and I have a video clip to show it is working properly.
There is no sign of rotor touching the case back.
