Hello all. Up for sale is a gorgeous 1979 ROLEX DateJust 16030. A watch that needs little introduction, this is an instantly recognizable classic. With its 36mm case it wears easy with virtually any attire. This being a early 5-series Rolex, inside you will find the venerable Caliber 3035 movement. It was with this movement that Rolex introduced the quick-set date feature, making the watch ideal for non-every-day wear, along with a higher beat rate, making the seconds hand smoother. Having been just serviced, The watch is running with a strong amplitude in the 270+ degree range and has great accuracy. Over the movement sits an eye-catching light silver dial with all its lume plots still in place. It is worth noting that the watch has service hands with working lume.
