Hello folks! For sale is my Vario 1918 Trench Watch, an automatic watch designed like the first WWI wrist watches, when people had just worked out how to put pocket watches on wrist straps. This is a very unique watch from a [great microbrand](https://vario.sg/), and the watch has a lot of subtle features that are hard to find at this price point. The brass case houses a gilt Miyota 82s5 movement, and the enamel cream dial with sunken sub-seconds shows oversized numerals with orange lume. The polished cathedral hands are also filled with orange lume. The sapphire crystal is in pristine shape. It comes on the original Vario leather strap but note that one of the two strap keeper loops has broken. I've also included the original bund pad, a leather single-pass strap, and brown leather clip-on strap. Note that this watch has 20mm fixed wire lugs, which are historically accurate but won't accept springbar straps. Lots of other options are out there such as clip on, pass through, and nato straps. Lastly, the watch comes with the full kit: Vario travel case, original steel caseback, and active warrantee card good until October 2024.
