Hi all, Up for sale is my Rolex Explorer Ref. No. 214270 MKI Dial. **Watch Specifications:** stainless steel, 39mm case, Caliber 3132 automatic movement, Oyster bracelet with 13 links (includes Easylink 5mm adjustment), 100m water resistance. **Overview:** I purchased this watch used back in 2020 after lusting over it for a while. This particular reference was Rolex’s first attempt at updating the Explorer, which has traditionally been a 36mm watch. At 39mm, the case size on the 214270 is perfect for most. Some people hate the white gold 3/6/9 numerals and smaller handset (compared to the newer MKII dial, which has lume-filled 3/6/9 numerals and larger handset), but I always thought those features made wearing an Explorer a little more interesting. While I’ve always enjoyed wearing this watch, I simply don’t wear it anymore …it’s time for me to let this one go. **Scope of Sale:** Everything included in the sale is shown in the pictures. Specially, included in the sale is the watch with 13 links, original inner/outer boxes, original manuals and warranty card, hang tags, service documentation and now-expired 2-year service warranty card, Rolex pouch, and a black Everest band (my wrist is about 7 inches and I could always go substantially tighter or looser using micro-adjustments on the clasp). **Watch Condition:** Excellent but for some minor superficial scratches from daily wear and desk diving (nothing that can’t be easily polished out). The superficial scratches are far more noticeable in the pictures than they are in real life, which is intentional on my part. Mechanically, the watch is running flawlessly given movement was regulated \~14 months ago (see ownership history below). The pictures demonstrate a fair and accurate representation of the watch and accessories in their current condition, and I encourage you to examine them closely. **Relevant Ownership History:** I purchased the watch in 2020; RSC with light polish in September 2021; I was unhappy with how RSC polished the bezel (there’s a brushed concentric surface on the bezel just outside the crystal, which they polished away) , so I sent it back in October 2021 to have a new bezel installed; I had the movement regulated in December 2022 because it was running fast after getting the new bezel work done. **Price:** Reduced to $6400 which includes tracked and insured shipping within the continental US.
