[WTS] Seiko SPB267J1 Arita Porcelain Dial Limited Edition 902/2000 w/ Aaron Bespoke Custom Alligator Strap
PRICED TO SELL: - $2200 USD with Aaron Bespoke custom blue Alligator Leather Strap w/ Deployant Clasp - $1700 USD with watch and OEM stainless bracelet Payment accepted via etransfer or via PayPal. I bought this watch as my wedding watch. I wore it once last year and it’s sat in a box since. Long story short, it’s time to sell this watch. I bought this custom blue alligator leather strap for the watch because it matches the dial perfectly and it’s well known that the bracelet is Seiko’s downfall. I would have to say this watches overall finishing is close to that of a Grand Seiko. The pictures don’t do it justice. There were only 2000 of these limited edition pieces made. The caseback here shows this is 902 out of 2000. The stainless bracelet is still in protective plastic and unworn as seen in the photo. ABOUT THE WATCH: https://www.seikowatches.com/us-en/products/presage/arita-porcelain-dial-limited Part of Seiko's Presage line, where Seiko offers better movements than their entry level pieces and brings class and sophistication at an affordable price point, the Arita is named after a small town on the third largest island in the Southwest of Japan. Starting in the 17th century, Arita, was known for carrying the tradition and artistry for producing porcelain products. The star of the show here is the dial. Light hits the porcelain and reflects it in ways that only porcelain can do. It's mesmerizing. The dial is a multi-stage process that requires an artisan touch, and there is a glaze applied to the porcelain which provides depth and richness. The blue color on these limited editions is called "lapis lazuli" that is done using a traditional dyeing technique called "ruri zome." This color combo of white porcelain and faint lapis lazuli is reminiscent of coveted japanese porcelain vases, bowls, and plates. Condition is immaculate. I don’t see any flaws in it. I babied this thing and planned it to be a generational piece. The size is very wearable at 40.6 with a 48.8 lug to lug. There's an exhibition caseback. The movement is the 6R27 which is automatic, can do manual winding, has power reserve indicator, and a date hand at six o clock. Specs are below: - 6R27 movement - 14.1 mm Case Thickness - 40.6 mm Case Size - 20mm lug width - Lug to lug 48.8 - See-through & screw case back - Dual-curved sapphire - AR coating on inner surface - Three-fold clasp - Automatic manual winding - Precision +25 to -15 seconds per day - Power Reserve 45 hours - 29 Jewels - Date hand, power reserve indicator, seconds hacking - 10 bar water resistance
