I'm putting up for sale a pair of Seiko SBCJ019 titanium Alpinist. This first one is in better condition than the other. The 8F56 titanium Alpinists are highly sought after and it's not difficult to see why: classic design, light weight titanium construction, sapphire crystal and venerable movement. This is a long discontinued model that is powered by the 8F56 high end quartz movement (spec'ed to within 20 sec/yr). This gem of a movement features perpetual calendar, a 10-year battery change interval, a true GMT hand, and an hour hand that can be adjusted in 1 hour increments (very useful for travelling or DST changes). The watch for sale is in excellent condition. The only marks on the watch head are some surface swirls on the polished bezel. The crystal is flawless. The bracelet shows light signs of wear. The battery was replaced within the last two years, and the perpetual calendar is properly set. The 2 o'clock crown rotates the internal compass bezel smoothly with the right amount of friction, and the 4 o'clock crown operates the movement and screws down securely. Everything functions as it should.
