Up for sale is my champagne dial Grand Seiko GMT Spring drive SBGE005. This comes with watch, eBay authenticity card, and a free ugly watch that someone gave me when they heard I was “into watches”. This isn’t a safe queen. She’s got some scratches and a couple of dings, but nothing that couldn’t be burnished out if someone so desired. It certainly doesn’t take away from the bling factor. I was at a gathering of old farts smoking cigars recently, and it was a Sub/Datejust-fest. I got sooooo many questions about it. The crystal and dial are flawless, and this champagne color is the most dynamic dial I’ve ever seen light conditions can make it appear anything from white to silver to almost gold. This has been the watch that when I went to the watch box and couldn’t decide what to wear, I’d pick up this baby, and I never ever thought it was a mistake.
