If you want to skip the part that I drool about the patina and watch, read the key details below and skip to the end where I have price and scope of delivery. **Key details:** - Reference 1675 - 2.7m serial (circa 1971) - Mark 1 dial - Thick case with factory chamfers present - Original and matching tritium dial and hands - Beautifully faded fat font insert - Original jubilee bracelet with owner’s initials - Full set **Why I love this watch:** I’m usually not particular on a watch’s set especially when it’s a vintage watch, but when a 50+ year old piece comes in as a full set down to the original receipt…it’s just somethin else. A true full set purchased from the original owner. Not only does this set include the box and punched warranty papers, but a booklet with the watch’s serial number and reference punched and the original owner’s name and date of purchase. The name matches the initials engraved on the bracelet clasp! It’s also fun to flip through the pamphlet included with different timezones and how to properly set the GMT bezel! An honest full set “Mk 1” Rolex GMT-Master reference 1675 with a perfect dial and hands and beautifully faded fat font insert. I’ve always been attracted to unique patina and this 1675 definitely exhibits that. A bezel insert that’s faded to a copperish tone for the red portion and the blue has evolved into a bright navy, and deep custard hour markers with matching hands. Beautiful colors you just can’t find in today’s GMT’s. I’m a huge fan of the bevels of these older vintage models. It adds some form and intricacy to the case profile we don’t see in the modern Rolex sports models in production today. If you read all of that, thanks for stickin with me and letting me nerd out.
