Most enthusiasts are aware of the seiko SARB and SARX lineups, but there's another JDM brother in that bunch that has similar levels of finishing and specs with main difference being that it uses the 4R and not the 6R15 movement (imo that's a positive) for essentially less than half the cost in today's insane market. With this being the SARY053, with its Open Heart design giving access to view the beating "heart" of the watch and a dial that's often listed as black, and while that's true the majority of the time, I swear in certain lighting it has subtle amounts of lovely warm brown coming through that just give it a little something extra.
