For sale is a Universal Geneve Automatic watch for $495. I love the look of it, but it’s not getting much wrist time, so clearing it out to a better home. Condition: Solid for a watch of this age - without having been refinished. Appears to be unpolished and has a great vintage vibe. The movement keeps great time. Movement: UG automatic in fantastic shape. My watchmaker literally gasped when he opened it earlier today. OG movement in very good shape (see photo). Crystal: Hesalite/acrylic. Scratches are numerous, but not overwhelming. Case: 10K gold filled. Dimensions: 32mm wide. Caseback: Gold filled, engraved with “Robert A. Katz MD / From / Dad and Mother”. Also notes that it’s 10k gold filled on the exterior case back. Dial: Cream dial, with gold outlined markers with what was once lume. Lume doesn’t work any more. Strap/bracelet: I bought a new leather strap (alligator printed cowhide) from panatime when I bought the watch. Have only worn it a handful of times. This is a special piece, but my wrist is just too big. Hope you enjoy it!
