This is a classic case of “I bought the wrong color.” I thought I’d like the turquoise, but just didn’t end up being for me and I’m letting this one go. I’d say overall condition 9/10, with only marks on the clasp as you’d expect. No trades please and only shipping to USA at this time. Just to avoid confusion, this is the same company as Bramier, who made a Miyota 9075 GMT earlier this year that got some play in reviews. They renamed earlier this year. But just wanted to connect the dots that this is the same company. Case: 39mm L2L: 46mm Lug width: 20mm Crystal: Sapphire Bezel: 120 click (very good action, all lines up). Bezel is fully lumed. Movement: Miyota 9015 (28,800 mph, date). No issues that I have noticed with poor time keeping, weird crown action, or any of that kind of stuff. Bracelet: Beads of rice at 20mm, tapering to 18mm. 6 position fold-over clasp. WR: 300m (c’mon, like you need more than 50… let’s be real) PROS: -Thinness/wearability. I don’t have calipers to measure myself, but every review online that has the specs notes this watch at roughly 11.5mm thick. That is seriously thin for a 300m diver, and I think it shines in the wearability department. -Color/dial. A really nice dial color here, and while it doesn’t show well on the pictures I took, there’s this really nice little grained effect on the dial that gives it a little texture that mixes things up a little. There’s also the obvious fume effect. The color is nice and bright and if it’s up your alley, a real selling point. There’s also decent depth to the dial thanks to the indices. -Really good design. I think Bencler’s done a good job of hitting all the basics you’d expect, but also putting their own nice spin on the design that makes it not just another micro brand diver. Markers at the cardinal indices are a cool little design I haven’t seen before. I really like the look of the hands. The bezel design/markings are unique. And the font on the date wheel is different from the normal Miyota affair. There’s the right amount of writing on the dial; you don’t get a paragraph of text like a Tudor Pelagos or some Chinese offerings. Nothing here that I’d describe as shocking or surprising, but there is enough difference here that I think it differentiates itself from the norm. -Bezel action. The bezel has a solid action, lines up well, no backplay - not too firm, not too soft, nice and clicky. CONS: -I love that the date is color-matched, especially considering it’s not your typical white or black affair; I’m guessing they had to put a decent amount of effort into getting a turquoise-colored one. But the problem is that the white digits on a lighter-colored aqua background make it difficult to read. -The clasp is just “meh.” Bracelet is good, moves well with your wrist and no pinch points that I have ever noticed. But the clasp is that typical “meh” micro brand affair; gets the job done but doesn’t feel awesome in operation and is definitely not the most sophisticated system in the world. -Index size is too small, in my opinion. I wish they were maybe 20% bigger; feels like there’s just a touch too much space on the dial for me. The lume performance is pretty good, but a little limited as the marker size isn’t as huge as some other offerings from brands like Seiko, Citizen, etc. -Color; I put this in the pros, but for some it’s a con as well (it was for me). Turqoise isn’t going to be as versatile a color as your typical black, navy, or white dial affair, so just keep that in mind. Any questions, just ask. Thanks!
