WORTH NOTING: -This watch is definitely loud style-wise; probably not one you’re going to wear to your next board meeting at work. I don’t mind a flashy timepiece, but if that’s not your deal, then… you’ve probably not even clicked into this post, let’s be honest. -This is a traveler GMT. So be warned, that means you’re giving away a quick-adjust date. It’s the price you pay with the territory. PROS: -Supplied zulu strap is really nice, soft, supple material. You can of course easily change out the strap if you want, but you definitely don’t have to, as the one supplied is a good one. -I’m a big fan of the Miyota movement; you get solid and reliable performance. In my experience, I don’t feel the rotor spinning a ton on wrist or making much noise (I feel like the 9000’s are a lot better in this respect). And this is a great price for entry if you’re interested in checking out your first traveler GMT watch. -I love getting both the functionality of a timing and GMT bezel; super handy for whatever you’re doing. -This is a limited edition with Worn & Wound/Windup of 100 pieces, if that matters to you. -I think this is a fun watch. Watch collecting should be fun, and this is a fun watch that you can do any sort of activity in thanks to the ruggedness and 200m WR. Lots of color and a unique case shape makes this fun to wear. CONS: -This isn’t the easiest to read watch thanks to the GMT hand. I wish that hand was a little more differentiated from the normal hour hand; sometimes I would find myself reading the GMT hand thinking it was the hour hand (or vice versa). Not a huge deal, but until your eyes get used to it you may make the same mistake. -2 o’clock crown operation. I like that this crown screws down, as I like the idea of something being locked in place when I’m trying to time something. However, the screw down action leaves something to be desired. The actual screwing down of the crown is fine; no issues or weird feel. But the problem is that the bezel will move as you screw the crown down unless you’re pushing it directly down into the case, if that makes sense. If not, the bezel will move a little bit as you screw in, which obviously is not ideal. This appears to be an issue endemic to this watch, as I handled another and it had the same issue.
