Up for sale is an awesome prior-generation Oris diver, the Divers Date 01.733.7533 8555-07 8 24 01PEB ! A version of this diver was actually one of the first “nice” Swiss watches that I ever bought for myself. What I love about this version is that it has a gold, almost bronze dial that shifts to blue behind the blue wave patterns. I can’t tell if this dial went tropical or if this was how it was originally intended – I have seen pure blue versions of this reference and one that was completely bronze colored. But either way it’s one of the most interesting dials Oris made at that time! With a fairly thin case at 44mm and 300m of water resistance, it’s a great tool watch and daily wearer.

I would put this example at 79%. There are no major dings or nicks in the watch case or crystal. There are light hairlines and desk diving marks on the case, polished surfaces of the lugs and some light marks in the aluminum bezel insert. There is a very minor ding on the edge of the bottom left lug. There are some slight marks on the hour and minute hands. The rubber strap is in great shape and its clasp has noticeable desk diving marks. The watch also comes with its original bracelet with desk diving marks throughout. Service history is unknown – it is running about 23 s/d with smooth crown and setting / date change action. The watch will come with its full kit – outer box, inner shell zipper case, manuals and service booklets, 2 extra links and original stamped AD warranty card from 8/2013.
