Together, the yellow numerals spell out 706, the address of the Madison Avenue boutique. The white and yellow numerals are all coated with Super-LumiNova for legibility in the dark. The watch seal, minutes track, and seconds hand are also yellow. The cushion-shaped case is crafted from satin-brushed titanium in a deep gray color, and the anthracite dial matches. The dark color is brightened with a sunny yellow design accents. At first, yellow might seem an unusual choice for New York, but it’s actually inspired by the bold color of one of the city’s icons: yellow taxis. This comes on the factory Hermès gray rubber strap with probably one of the nicer deployant clasps I’ve seen with a built-in on-the-fly micro adjust.
