For sale is a late 1960s Omega Constellation with a C shaped case, designed by the one and only Gerald Genta - designer of the AP Royal Oak, Patek Philippe Nautilus, and others. Notably, his Constellation design pre-dated the noted models with AP and Patek making this watch historically quite interesting. The watch features a gold plated case and stainless steel case back, in overall nice vintage condition. The Omega crown lends itself to a quickset date function by pulling the stem to the third position - the date jumps. Reset the stem to the second position, pull to the third, and jumps again. Repeat until the desired date. Pretty cool. Pearl dial features applied gold stick hour markers. Goldtone dauphine hands and goldtone sweep seconds hand. All in nice condition. Crystal is in good condition, although shows a few scratches here and there. Does not interfere with the dial legibility, however. Service history is unknown. Keeps good time and is ready to wear. A very solid, well made, and particularly striking piece. Dial is beautiful and really impresses in the sunlight. $975.00 includes insured shipping via USPS.
