For sale is this rare vintage Longines Ref. 8099.5 Cal. 428 from the early 1970s (possibly 1969), made in Switzerland. The green dial is the star of the show here with a nice powdered texture and contrasting white Roman numerals and hands. The case is original and has not been re-polished and displays a mixture of brushed and polished finishing with sharp bevels. You can see the attention to detail with the applied logo on the dial and the signed crown. The hand-wound calibre 428 allows the watch to be ultra-slim, easily slipping beneath a suit cuff.
