Details

Dial: Very crisp matte black dial. White registers. Tritium lume on handset and hour markers is uniform in color and reacts brightly under UV light. Chrono and register hands are fully operational and re-set perfectly. Black tension ring between case and crystal. Silver date wheel.

Case / Pushers / Crown: Super sharp case measures 42mm in diameter. Lug width is 20mm. Original pushers. Heuer signed crown.

Bezel / Insert: Bi-directional bezel. Glossy black insert with a luminous dot is excellent.

Movement: Caliber 12, Automatic

Serial Number: 313,xxx (ca. 1974)

Crystal: Mineral crystal

Bracelet: Unsigned beads-of-rice bracelet with HLF end pieces

Condition and Notes: This is an extremely well preserved, third generation, Heuer ‘Viceroy design” Autavia 11630. I believe the case is unpolished. Dial is nearly flawless. The original lume on vintage Autavias should react uniformly when exposed to UV light and retain the glow for several seconds afterward. Vintage Autavias with inconsistent lume are a red flag, based on my experience.
I acquired this watch in 2018 from the original owner who lives in Tennessee (USA). The service history of the watch is unknown. Presently, the timepiece is keeping very accurate time.
