Very cool Seiko 5 mod bought here in April. Full disclosure: I cannot find the original post that describes the build, and the guy who did the work seems to be off Reddit now. I will do my best to describe it, but I am not a professional watch dealer—or even very knowledgeable about Seiko mods. PRICE: $225 shipped via PayPal (G&S add 3%) or Venmo. DESCRIPTION: The case is an unusual Samurai-style field watch mod, and it houses an Explorer-style dial finished with a vintage look lume. The date is a combo Kanji/English day/date wheel. It’s incredibly pretty in person. It’s in spectacular shape, with no visible dings or scratches. On the back, you can see traces of some adhesive or gasket situation the builder used. I am told it will stand up to splashes and light-duty water, but I haven’t ever risked it.  I’m including two straps: a two-piece and a NATO. Both look great with the watch. As I said, I’m not a pro, but I am happy to FaceTime?WhatsApp video so you can look at the watch. I don’t have a lot of feedback here, but I have been on Reddit a long time and value my profile. I would not jeopardize my standing in this community over a watch.
